About Barron Mills

Barron Mills is a habitual problem solver who creates his own if no one else has any that need solving. After 20 years of service as an infantry officer in the Marine Corps, Barron is now extensively involved in the veteran community of Central Florida and beyond. With a focus on the military transition, employment, and entrepreneurship, Barron believes that our veteran population (including military spouses) remains largely underutilized and undervalued and he wants to change that dynamic. His role as the Executive Director for the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses provides him a perfect opportunity to improve economic opportunities in the veteran community across Florida.

In addition to his role with FAVOB, Barron is a Board Member of the Camaraderie Foundation, a Career Readiness Instructor with FourBlock, and has involvement in various other business and veteran organizations. Barron has a degree in Chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute as well as a Masters in Program Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. He lives in the Orlando area with a teenage son and daughter.

Barron is associated with the following organizations and can be reached with their respective email addresses. You may also ask him how to volunteer to be a FourBlock coach and how you can get involved with Veterati.
