“The whole is greater than the sum of our parts.”

In light of a phenomenal year for Team Parabilis, we would be remiss if we didn’t reflect on all that was accomplished and thank our clients, partners and amazing network for the impact you have made in our overall success. I’ve mentioned this is the past, but our Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ed Bersoff, has been known to say, “We can all do well, if first we start by doing good”. This is at the heart of everything we do at Parabilis.

In an industry that is often clouded by competition, transactional relationships, fast-paced deadlines and slowly awarded work, greed and conceit can sometimes permeate the very best of initial intentions. But if your approach is humanistic and relationship focused, those negatives can dissipate and leave fulfillment and happiness in its place. If there is nothing else we are ever known for as a team, being personable first is a great start.

Over the last year we have grown, both economically (thank you for trusting in our team and our services) but also in our outward impact. We have expanded our offerings to include education and information for the growing GovCon because we see the benefit in locking arms with the teams and technologies that will make our country strong and safe long into the future. We have weekly blogs like this one that share insight and industry tips for those navigating the early terrain of the industry that can sometimes be bumpy and uncertain. We have a growing podcast that highlights industry resources from the best of the best experts and insiders. We send out a monthly newsletter that spotlights where we are in our quests for contract opportunities, and we constantly interact with our local and nationwide network both virtually and in-person to feel the pulse of the industry through you.

It’s been a fast but amazing year! We feel truly blessed beyond measure to have weathered a storm, not the first and certainly not the last, and come out on the other side wiser and more sure of our path ahead. We have the best leadership any team could hope for that empowers our team to be steadfast in who we are as people and lead the charge from the heart and not in a mindset of personal achievement.

I say all of this because I am truly grateful to be right here, right now, serving this community and working with an all-star team of amazing human beings. In our final meeting of the year we sat in a circle to recap and strategize for 2022 and I couldn’t be more proud of those who sit around to my left and right in that circle. We are stronger together, linking our strengths and securing any weaknesses with the bond of unified concern for one another. We are all certainly not perfect, but our team together is just about as close as it gets to it.

So, as we move ahead with new and exciting endeavors together in 2022, I can’t help but be so proud of us and what we have accomplished. I hope your teams have been encouraged, inspired and made to feel important with any interaction you have had with us. We strive to make your experience the centerpiece of our mission so your input is a helpful tool for our continued success, so reach out. Tell us what you liked, tell us what you still want to see, who you want to hear from and what tools we can offer to take your journey to the next level. Sign up for our free newsletter and stay in our loop, and give us the feedback we need to keep producing relevant material for you.

We are in this together! Today is not the final destination in our journey together….the best is yet to come!
