It’s the first week of the new year….have you started going after your goals or did you already lose track in the hustle and bustle of getting back to the grind?
Do your goals include such items that you may have been deprioritizing last year? I know it’s my business (literally what I do) to say this, but it’s true…if how you’re going to pay to perform on your awards isn’t a top priority, it should be!
Why?
That answer should be obvious, but if it’s not, let’s consider a key factor:
It’s usually required but at the very least implied that your contract award necessitates an ability to perform at the highest level which includes: hiring the best employees, having the funds to pay them well, purchasing quality equipment and goods, and providing goods and services on time. All of the above will require flexible, affordable, and accessible cash infusions (aka, lending) in the amount you need, when you need it. No more, no less!
Questions to consider
Have you talked to your bank to see if what they can supply will suffice? How much will it cost you?
If not, what are your alternatives? How much will they cost?
Are you able to fit the bill if you can’t get a bank loan and you have no alternatives?
Do you understand all of the above enough to ask the questions you need to in order to obtain the information necessary to make a sound decision for next steps?
Don’t be part of the group that falls into the “oh sh$t” category and then in a knee-jerk reaction scurry to find the fastest solution that tends not to make good business sense for a multitude of reasons!
Pardon the blunt approach, but if you’re looking for information that can literally change the way you’ve been doing things for the better, the time to do so is now! No option is the best across the board for everyone, no matter what the marketing says. But there is a difference and that can make a difference and the more you know about the in-between will matter! Ya dig?
