Last month we shared information from our partner and cash flow guru, David Safeer, concerning the most common myths around cash flow management and why you should care. If money management and financing isn’t your thing, don’t you think you should be finding a partner that can assist you with this portion of your business? Why wait until you have an issue to search for someone who can help?

In our last discussion, we highlighted David’s insights with regard to common misunderstandings with this subject. For instance, just because you have increased your sales doesn’t mean you have alleviated any cash flow issues. It’s actually the contrary. You’ve most likely created more issues because you weren’t prepared for the additional costs as a result of additional sales. Justifiably, most business owners are not aware of the effects cash flow maximization has on their profitability. So who is a good resource to assist with this? We of course encourage you to reach out to David and his team at Cash is Clear! But David also teaches his proven processes to accountants to help with their ability to assist clients with cash flow issues.

David shared with us that, “ Every accountant I work with truly wants to help their clients with the future of their business.  It can be easy to identify WHAT needs to be done, but extremely difficult to figure out how to do it.  And often identifying the exact problem is difficult.  It’s not obvious, so you need to dig and dig to find root causes and problems.  Accounting only shows you surface-level records.  You have to analyze data and talk to people.  I tell accountants that one of the biggest differences between accounting and cash flow management is that the solutions for cash flow are PEOPLE solutions.   It’s not a finance department problem( that’s another myth).  Finance departments record.  They do not create cash flow problems, and they cannot solve them by themselves.  I teach accountants so they can lead the way within an organization of finding cash flow issues and manage and maximize cash flow for the businesses they work with.”

We are hosting David on January 31st as he leads a discussion on creating a profitable GovCon through understandable cash flow maximization advice and proven processes to control and maximize cash flow. We encourage all GovCon business leaders, CPAs, CFOs, and financial teams that support government contractors to join us! If you want to take control of your cash flow while increasing your profitability, our seminar and open discussion is a must-attend event for you!
